What is the proper way to hook up dome supervision to an alarm with out a false trigger to the door. Most wiring guides show "Use Door Trigger" when hooking up supervision. Well if the domelight is trigger for 60 seconds with an unlock/unarm and you close your door before the relay kicks off and lock/arm, it show the door still open or chrips confirming door open. What is the proper way to isolate, wire up an alarm with domesupervision that uses the door trigger wire.
For instance, car has (-) door triggers and uses (-) dome supervision which says use door trigger.
Maybe a stupid questions but I was just wondering about it, and hoping from some of the pro's on this board.
Thanks

I ask this because I recently had this problem with a 2000 Honda Accord with a compustar. When the car was unarmed, the dome light came on with the dome supervision, and if it was rearmed before the supervision kicked off, the remote beeped 3 time showing the door was open. If waited till the domelight relay shut off, the alarm was fine.

most alarms allow you to turn off the door trigger wire to prevent the dome falsing the output. it will retain the trigger for the door if the door is opened, but wont false from the dome.
There are 10 types of people in the world, ones that understand binary and ones that dont.
