I need to locate (in my 1993 Audi 80) the motor side of the starter and te key side of the starter. Diagrams would be helpful 1993 Audi 80 starter wire -- posted image.

Just cut the starter wire in half, then one is obviously the key side the other the motor side.

go the the ign. harness for the stater wire. the connections will be obvious from there

godblessdremil, i figured as much.....

Powermyster, the problem i am having is finding out which of the wires is actually the one to the starter...

It's all about bass

go to the harness and test for the wire that shows 12V while cranking.

RED / black is the colour listed for that car. so if there is a RED / black test that one first
