I just installed the alpine unit into my 05 Nissan Altima and the radio reception is horrible. Is there any antenna booster that I can get to make it better. I checked to make sure if the antenna was connected properly and it was so I was just thinking an antenna booster if so what brand.

I also tried to put the factory radio in to see if the reception was bad and it was perfect so I know it's something with the strength of the signal going to the radio---please give input

Did you plug in the antenna wire?  I accidently didn't once and things didn't work well Alpine CDA-9857 FM Signal - Last Post -- posted image..
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

Also there might be a wire that runs with your antenna wire that needs to be be grounded. I ran into this problem with an older (2000 i think) Altima. Once I connected that wire the radio reception was perfect.
