I was originally looking at an ED 700 for some bump without taking up a lot of space and I ran across Mpyre Audio over at carstereos.org. Their 6.5" subwoofer looks to heavily outperform (if the specs are real) the ED 6.5 and basically everything else in that size. Anyone have any input before I preorder a couple? Here are the specs:
Patented XBL^2 Motor
Fs: 25.7 Hz
Qms: 6.2
Qes: 0.46
Qts: 0.42
Vas: 11.7 liters
Re: 3.25 Ohms
Le: .214 mH
BL: 9.7 N/A
Mms: 76.7 grams
Sd: 130 cm^2
Cms: 0.5 mm/N
Xmax: 14mm 1 WAY LINEAR
Xmech: 18mm 1 WAY MAX
Depth: 3 5/8"
PWR Handling: 150WRMS
Single 4 Ohm Voice Coil
Thanks guys!

The specs are real and this line should be killer.

Retail is $119 each.  I'm not sure what the pre-order price is.  I will say they are very nice looking, and beefy drivers.
