ok guys my sub amp is a clif designs cd10.1Lx its a class a/b monoblock amp, 1 ohm mon stable, 0.02% T.H.D, s/n ratio >100db, channel seperation 65db, dampening factor 150, fuse 30 amp x 3 it has tiffany style rca jacks 1 in and 1 out, direct wire terminal blocks, xover switch full/lowpass, varible lpf is 40hz to 120hz, subsonik filter 10hz to 25hz, bass boost is 0db to 18db centered at 40hz, clif's claimed rating 1 x 350w rms @ 4 ohms, 1 x 500w rms @ 2 ohms, 1 x 700w rms @ 1 ohm, and 1000w max @ 1 ohms. now its cea compliant at 4 and 2 ohms. now there are 2 sets of speaker terminals on this amp but in the manual it says the amp is internally bridged so there is no need for outside bridging i know what that means but also the engineer @ clif told me i could run this amp @ 1/2 ohm on a single channel givin the right situation but i dont plan on it
so my question is what is ur thoughts on this brand, what would u rate this @ givin these specs i heard clif used to be really good bout 5 to 10 yrs ago but know one knows how they r now cause they jus went through allot of changes
and why is there a sub sonic adjust on there when the human ear can only hear to about 25-30hz and most subs can't produce anything lower (most not all) and its jus vibration to us any how well i appreciate any input ya'll have

The amp is one channel, right?  If it is, then why is there a channel separation?  The subsonic filter is used for mainly ported enclosures.  When a sub is in a ported enclosure their is only a certain frequency it can go down to.  As it hits that and goes lower, mechanical failures start to occur and your sub could go bye bye.  This is a lot harder to do in a sealed enclosure.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
