ahoy pimps.

today i bought some more LEDs from Kmart to add to my array alreayd in the car, with the intention of sticking them in the door vents of my prelude.
my problem is, they are Blue LEDs, and all my others are green.
i wish to change the blue to green in the simplest way possible.
i asked the staff there if they could order me some in a different color, but they just kinda shrugged.
they are fairly small (50cent peice....4cm x 4cm-ish?), and have 2 LED bulb things in each unit.
ill attempt now to create an ascii picutre of what the neons are like...

there is also a small plastic bit above the LEDs, and they are in a black housing. if really required ill try get a foto to put up here.

i thought of using some light green tint paint stuff to coat the plastic cover dealy.
or maybe put some on the LEDs themselves.....
i dunno.....

This may sound really obvious, but I would just buy the correct color to start with.  LEDs are cheap and readily availible.  Check out ebay or www.digikey.com

Yeah, I agree with the above post...why'd you buy them if they were the wrong colour?

i got them for a few reasons, mainly, the size, shape, and way they mount is PERFECT for the intended application, and they came in a 4 pack, so i went halves with a mate who wanted 2 blue ones, so i figured, cheap neons, perfect for what i want, then i figured it might not be to hard to change the color, however i have them in at the moment, and the blue looks really good, so i might be tempted to go witha a dual color theme.....
