Installing dei 561 r/s in 2006 pilot ex. Looking for tach signal under dash if possible. Searching older posts say it is possiblby high in drivers kick panel? also alot of talk about 2 pin connector on drivers fenderwell with 1 wire in it?Cant find it in eighther place ,would prefer to stay inside vehicle if possible. Anyone have any detailed location / picture of what connnector and wire color tach signal is? Also looking for anbrown wire between door multiplex unit and drivers multiplex unit .dont see it on front side of driver fuse / multiplex panel is it coming into back side of fuse panel? trying to avoid going into door(using HODL interface) Any detailed info on this vehicle would be much appreciated,

Ray

for tach signal, there is a single pin plug right beside the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment, the color is blue/silver dots

and for the second question, I don't know what you are looking for

No need to go under the hood for tach.
Look at the fuse box, above the driver's kick panel. Just above the top edge of the plastic kick panel, there are two light green plugs--------tach is blue, in the smaller plug.
To find the wires that come in from the driver's door, a good trick is to simply grab the rubber boot inside the doorjamb, and give it a tug or a wiggle-----you should be able to see the other end of the harness jiggling around inside the car's kick panel.
Isn't the DEI 561 an add-on piece, without any remotes of its own? Honda remotes don't work with the ignition on-----so when the car is running under remote start, you're going to have to unlock the door with the key.
