My amp and head unit just got jacked so i got new ones. The head unit is a new clarion and is hooked up correctly. All lights come on, cd's play, and subs work but I can not get any sound out of the back and door speakers. I took one of the speakers out of the door and went straight from the head unit to the speaker but nothing. I read a post saying one of the speakers could be grounded but I haven't had a chance to check this. Is there anything else that could cause this? All fuses are good. Car is a 92 civic ex.

You need to post model numbers, and direct links are even better, to the head unit, sub amp and any other amps or equipment hooked up.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Ok. I have figured out that it is one of the speaker wires. It's the passenger side door speaker. When I unhook it, everything plays fine. Now I have to figure out how to fix that. I took my dash apart but cant see the wire touching metal. The wire is inside the sleeve most of the length. Does anyone know how I can find the ground?
