I am ready to move forward with this project.
Here is what I am installing in...
1997 Ford F250 Crew Cab bench seat in front and rear.
What I want....
2 rear head rest moitors. 7" or so...
These will have to be custom installed, the seats do not have removable headrest. I am fine with the install.
Front visor monitor pass. side. Should be easy enough.
What I want them to do...
Rear head rest. Have their own DVD source and be able to plug in a video game. Have there own wireless headsets.
I realize there will need to be two DVD sources, no problem. I foresee two DVD player units mounted up front in a custom fiberglass mounting.
The visor monitor to be able to switch between any one of the two DVD sources AND rear camera and wireless headset.
I am lookign for your input on..
Equipment choices.
Switching (manual) options.
Not having any mobile video experience, I am a little over whelmed by the selection and price differnces and have no clue on the manual switching.
Thanks for any and all input.

Bump,
Am I on my own here?
Any input is appreciated.
Would like to keep the project around a grand (parts self install). Mostly kids watching so does not have to be fancy.

I would use one A/V Switcher and 2 wireless headphone Transmitters. Any mobile Audio video switcher with at least two inputs and 4 outputs would achieve all of your goals.
