I am about to install a RS unit in a 98 Toyota 4runner. This truck does not have factory keyless entry. It is of course automatic. I am having a little trouble locating the correct TACH wire location, DOME light location and doorlock/unlock. On the RS system there is lock/unlock then there is a wire for the triggers, what are they for? To connect to the same lock and unlock? Also, where do you run the power to for the power lock and unlock? (fuse box, back to the ignition where 12v constant is?). I am so lost.

Last but not least, I do not wish to have the siren connect BUT I don't want the HORN to give me a confirmation honk when I ARM the vehicle. I want it is very similar to factory alarms that come with them. Only honk when armed.

If there are any tips and tricks, please let me know!

I have my steering wheel column apart and i have not drove it in 2 days.

Thanks.

NOTE: Some models have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed during remote start.  Use DEI module 555F or 555U to bypass.  *1 Ignitor is on passenger side fender well. Diagnostic connector is on drivers side top of motor.  *2 The ECM is behind the glove box.
