dude, you should def. deaden and build a new box, The above reasons are that with deadening it will get louder because you have less road noise, and you will get better response and less rattles. New box, well its kinda obvious, 40 dollars of MDF vs 600 dollars for teh W7 and HO box. Now to answer a question you asked earlier. My friend has the HO Box with a 12W7 ( i have a 12W7 too )he has it coupled with the 500/1 and it slams his Civic Si 2001 , however the box is massive and he had to redo his camber and have several alignments due to the immense weight, IMO you could build a better box in far less space.
