We replaced the CD Player in my wifes 2003 Durango with
a navigation system, leaving me with a 6CD Changer/Tuner
lying around in a box.
My son just came home with a rusty old Ford Ranger with
an aftermarket sterio installed, and I was thinking of
trying to make the chrysler one work instead.
I can't find a manufacture's name on the Chrysler player, but it's Chrysler part number P05064010AC. It has
two connectors on the back side by side. One 22 pin, and
one 10 pin. I've done lots of wiring in older vehicles,
but have never taken anything apart that was built in
this century, so I have no idea if this is a standard
plug interface.
Can anyone give me the pin out information for these
connectors ?

Your looking at lot of work if it will work. Most chrysler vehicles have an externaly mounted amplifier meaning the head you removed is just a controller.

Seeing as the question was not answered, here it is:

1.  12 Volt to Battery = Yellow

2.  12 Volt to Ignition = Red
3.  Ground = Black
4.  Speaker (Right Front) = Gray (+), Gray with Black Stripe (-)
5. Speaker (Left Front) = White (+), White with Black Stripe (-)
6. Speaker (Right Rear) = Violet (+), Violet with Black Stripe (-)
7. Speaker (Left Rear) = Green (+), Green with Black Stripe (-)
8. Antenna Out = Dark Blue
9. Amp Remote (Turn on) = Dark Blue with White Stripe
10. Illumination / Dimmer = Orange
       RCA/Molded: Red = Right
        White = Left

I too was looking for it.

Funny thing is, I went to the scosche website, found the pinout, then after closing all the windows wanted to see the pinout later that night and they upgraded their website. Then I could no longer find it. Had to go through my cache.
Now, all you need to do is find the reference pin, pin1. Look inside the male connector (in the Cd player) and it should be engraved. If you cannot see it, it is top right (where top is the portion with all the connector slide-guide-grooves.
The connector you need has modle number: CR02RB

I wouldn't go peeing on the carpet yet. If I understand your post your going to try and put a cd player ie head unit from the durango into the ford. If so before you proceed with buying anyhting you may want to verify whether or not that the durango had an external amp (factory). If it does have an external amp this  is a big job as I previuosly stated. If not its a dobale job and what you have to look for is a into radio harness (71series) for the durango and a if there is no plugs in the ford, figure out the steroe wiring and attach the into radio harness for the durango cd player. You can probably find a harness from this site.
