I am trying to wire a some streetglow lightbars. I have a 3 prong rocker switch with Pos Aux and Neg but it does not seem to control the lights. The lights remain on but the switch will turn on and off as expected. The light bars stay on even when the switch is off. Tlightbars orignally came with a cigarette lighter plug that I cut off. How do Iwire this correctly so that the switch will turn off the lightbars or do I need something else along with the switch.

typically you would feed B+ on the middle prong, neg to ground and the other to your equipment.  Is this a lighted switch?

Yeap its the lighted one. I figured it out. Have to go get an inline fuse probabaly 5A or 10A to finish the job.
