I have a Leus GS400 with factory Navigation Can anybody help me out with installing an aftermarket DVD player to be displayed on the screen - I already know how to get audio using a RF adaptor, just not sure about what are the correct input wires on the factory screen

That is going to be tricky.  If possible you should try to get a wire diagram for the navigation system from lexus.  You will have to cut the video wires ( there will be two, signal and shield) and splice some rcas to these wires.   You should also use a video switcher to go back and forth from dvd to nav.  Unfortunately it could be pretty rough getting the wire diagram from lexus.  Do you have access to the navigation unit and can see what kind of plugs are on it, actual wires, a din cable, or both?

The Nav unit is in the trunk(looks like a small 6disc changer) it also has a Din plug(I checked there already)I was thinking about using a double pole double throw toggle switch to switch from Nav to dvd- What do you think? I've seen about 3 cars in mag's with this done so I know it is possible

see www.video-nav.com and www.clublexus.com electronics forum for a design that will allow you to have video on your navigation screen.
