i want to hook a deck up to a 12v battery wut wire is nessary  in ga?

wow a frustration post after only 11 minutes thats gotta be a new record.
If were talking about any regular car stereo then 10 gauge will be fine if not overkill. I would look at the power wire that the radio uses, I would guess somewhere between 16 and 12 gauge. I would stick with 10 or 12 to be on the safe side. Dont forget to use a fuse.
