They should have a boot light, also a light on the dash for boot. Check for it and if there the wire is behind fuse panel on drivers side I think off the top of my head its a RED / blue not 100% sure.

green wire or green with black at the fuse box. with a working light it will show a low amp 12 v pos until you pull the trunk handle
