I just bought a car with a Astroflex 2006 system installed. I just acquired the remote for the system. Can anyone tell me how to program the remote?

dipswitch 8 in the up position, hit the brake, press any button on the remote, put dipswitch 8 down and hit the brake.

Should be good to go.

Not too happy about it. I've been installing/selling Astroflex for 10 years. Now I wonder how it will all pan out. I've had people from DEI and Astro say that nothing will really change but you never know.

DEI is swallowing up all of the companies that it can. Not that it is a high end system, but they bought Designtech a while back and are still selling their systems over the counter, in that long, annoying box without any significant changes that I have noticed, other than designtech-intl.com now providing directechs information for free.
Just my opinion.
Not that it matters much.

You want "passive" locking...or Ign. controlled locking?

2,4, and 7 up...hit the brake, put'em down, hit the brake your done. autolock ON!
