I think I have created a problem for myself updating my avic-n2 with the n3 disc.  A friend of mine has an n3 and let me borrow his disk to see if it would update with new ipod controls.  I had called pioneer tech support and they told me that it would work.  It updated the looks but didn't do anything for the ipod control or xm channel logos.  Is there any way to go back to the previous software since I can't get my hands on a new cndv-60m disc.  Pioneer says they are backordered until august.  I tried unsuccessfully to burn a dual layer dvd copy since my nav wont work without it.  Also, if I upgrade to an n3 will my ipod and xm nav traffic gear still work?  I hate the features of the n2.  I should have made them demo everything before I purchased it.
