Hey guys I have a customer with an 06 Silverado SS with bose, he wanted to add an amp/subs to the factory system so I tied in an LOC to the rear speaker leads and wired up the amp.It sounds OK but isnt as loud as I would have thought, also It seems to be getting a little interferance something because at higher volume there are bass notes and noise where there shouldnt be...It sounds way too off and I dont know if its because I tied into the rear leads, are they crossed over or something? My next step is to try and tap the LOC into the amp in the console at the factory sub output and see if that works better. Is there anyway I can just tap at the rear of the head unit?? Any help/suggestions are appreciated, THANKS!!

You need to tap the loc at the factory sub. Tapping off of the rear speaker gets a xover'd signal.
