i installed a 2 sets of airhorns and the units siren and the cars factory horn to the unit .it works but if the alarm gets set off it is really hard to turn it off with the remote. but when i disconnect the airhorns and factory horn i can just press the button 1 time and it goes off what could be the problem and i am using relays.

how do you have your relays configured?
Prove your connections, use a meter!
I promise, I'll behave!

you have a feedback problem.
hook it up like this
2 relays
tap a wire off of your alrm wire and connect it to a five pole relay to pin 85
pin 86 to ground
pin 30 output to flasher relay
pin 87a possitive from battery.
use a diode between the alarms siren wire and the relay to prevent feedback if you using a factory horn as well as the siren and air horns than use two diodes comming from one siren wire conencting one diode to one relay and the other to the other relay diode stripe should face the relays. this will prevent feedback going to the alarm.
now from pin 30 of each relay you need to add a flasher because this will make the horns honk instead of stay on and will keep the draw down. flashers if you dont have them are available at all auoparts stores. a standard 2 pole flasher

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
