the box is glued and stapled together. Its a very clean looking box. All i gotta do is seal inside and hopefully it will sound a lot louder.. To what extent would u guys say a decent amount of air leak will effect the quality of the sound.

air leak is horrible. Its not a sealed box if it leaks air. Silicones cheap, buy a big tube and lay the shmutz around all your inside edges, let that dry up, and you are good to go. Make sure you have a rubber or foam piece to put on the box where the sub mounts to it so it doesnt leak out from where the sub installs to either.
