I have it all wired up as the installation manual says but it just doesnt work. I used to have this alarm in a newer jetta wired this way and it worked. A couple resistors blew up in the drivers door before it worked but after the resistors blew up everything worked fine and dandy.. I cant seem to get it to work in my 1989 jetta with vacuum system. It seems to sometimes, not all of the time, unlock the doors but it unlocks them and then locks them and does this twice. In the end the doors are still locked. I cannot get it to lock the door when arming the alarm. Is tehre another way to do this? I was thinking of making the two relay thing as the site says butdont know how ti integrate that with my alarm. I would think i dont need to do that as my alarm has a relay build into it.Any ideas would be great. Thanks,
