hello all! my first post!

i am trying to install a rear foglight for my civic hatchback.

this is a JDM inspired idea, and i know it may sound dumb to some...

anywho, my question is this:

i need to hook up one single light bulb. I need it to turn on when i turn my lights on, or at least the parking lights, but i need it to be as bright as it would when the brake lights are engaged. kinda hard to explain...

how would i go about doing this? if i t-tap it directly to the rear brake lights, the foglight will be dim with the other lights, but bright when i tap the brakes? correct? would i need to run a relay from the brake lights to the foglight to act as the "on" switch, and then just a constant power from the battery?

thanks!!

The foglight typically has only 1 filament. Set it to the parking lights (or whatever you want) and when you turn on those lights the fog lamp will be on full brightness.
