Running board lights for factory Durango

Has anyone seen kits to install running board lights on a factory Dodge Durango running board? I have a 2002 and would like to add lights similar to what the Ford Excursions have. When they open the door, the running board lights come on. Thanks! HotRod

i dont know but if you find some let me know i have an 02 r/t durango that i would like to put them on as well.

I could do something custom on that with a few lights from the parts store. All you need is just a basic dome lite or something and just cut it into the board, run some wires and bingo! You could also go to the ford dealer and buy the lites that are ther boards 

I have been wanting to do this to my 02 SLT also, I have been thinking about using those led's that come in a plastic sleeve that are used for outdoor decorative lighting and tucking it up under the body just above where the running boards attach to the body, they would be out of sight but have had no luck in finding these lights that operate on 12 volts.
