Have you tried reseting the brain? You will need to re-program the alarm afterwards dont know if you know how to do that. But it is possible it could fix the problem. I will try to see about an extra remote for you if you would like, but I cannot gurantee anything unless I send you my remote which I know works lol.

I bought the real thing from a galaxy authorized dealer and i've had problems with a few. but he has always just had me send the brain back and sent me a new one. I just had to pay for shipping to him which only cost me $2 first class. if you want to contact him he's on ebay and his id is supermania10 i think.
