I need help on how to connect a relay to turn on my puddle lights( lamps under exterior mirrors) when the inside dome lights come on. If possible, I would prefere to have them come on when I disarm my alarm, which is a viper 791xv. Below is the diagram of the puddle lights and how they are connected to the DDM/FPDM. My vechile is a 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew.

From what I can gather fromt he diagram the lamps are triggered by the (-) trigger of the doors, but the control for the lights is through Class 2 databus. Much like the door locks on this vehicle, you won't be able to control the lights via a (-) trigger pulse.

Would  it possible if i tapped ino the - trigger from the dome lights and connect them into the puddle lamps, so that when the dome lights came on, the puddle lamps would come on at the same time?

You can try it and make suer that you test to ensure that the (-) trigger is infact going to be strong enough to trigger a relay. Use a DMM for this and post your results or more questions.
