Hello guys i just got my new SUV, i got the subs and cd ready, and i need to upgrade the speaker, in the fron its 6.5 midrange and on the consoloe is the tweeters and in the doors are the midbass. The rear speaker are located at the door. My idea is getting a conponent set in the front a a 2 way speaker in the rear.. I was looking at these

Polk Audio db6500  which are 100W RMS

for the rear the POLK AUDIO DB650  which are 60W RMS

Or

BOSTON ACOUSTICS SX60 65W RMS

Boston Acoustics S60  55W rms

the amp i was thinking is the ALPINE MRV-F345 Which is 75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

Ok now, is that a good amp for the speakers, If you get a speaker that is 60 w rms, what would be a good amp one with HIgher Rms than the speaker or Lower RMS?

thank you

it would be just about right for the first set and pretty good for the second, but a little over powered

That amp would be adequate for just about any coaxial or component set .
75 watts is more than enough for interior speakers.

You can never have too much power...you just have to know how to use it.
