3 questions. #1 the other day i got my xm radio working but it dosent sound right. what i mean is that when i use a cd or my ipod the highs and mids sound clear and i can hear them up front, but with the xm it sounds bad (too much bass) anyone else have this problem? It also happens with the regular radio.

#2 At about 9pm (winnipeg, canada time) my xm is all static for like half an hour anyone else experiance this?

#3 I have an Alpine CDA-9835 (with the terk adaptor), can i hook up sirius and xm at the same time?

What XM radio are you using ? Roady XT, MyFi or the SkyFi ?

#2: Chances are if you live near the airport the repeater stations have to reduce their power output because of the air traffic regulations concerning radio broadcasts that interfere with the airports equipement. There are 3 repeater stations in Winnipeg that I know of so chances are it has something to do with the lower output of the signal and more chances interference during this time.

#3: No you can not because they use separate tuner's and saltellites . It's like trying to get both AM & FM at the same time.

#1 im using the terk adaptor for my alpine deck cda-9835

#3 what i meant is having a all the hardware for the xm, and all the hardware for the sirius, and have it daisy chained to the hu through the ai-net. so u can just hit the source button and you'll have xm and sirius options

Your Terk adaptor does have a passthru ( input ), I've never tried it but in theory it should work.
There is no such thing as free installation!
