Hi,
I put my tool box down on my standard Red alarm LED.
Just wondering if I can replace it with a blue LED. I need to know what voltage alarm LED's are supplied with by the alarm brain normally?
I can't imagine it's a full 12 volts...anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
auex

Depends on the alarm, alot of the alarms are 2V. Post the brand.

It's a Selca alarm made by the people who make Toad alarms here in the UK.
I've bought some Blue LED's with the following spec, will these do: ?
REVERSE VOLTAGE:5.0 V
DC FORWARD VOLTAGE:3.3V TYPICAL/3.5V MAX
DC FORWARD CURRENT:20mA
Thanks, Mo
