I've got a friend with a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE asking for advice on replacing the factory speakers. He has the 11 speaker factory stereo.
Unfortunately he is in Cali and I'm in Florida, so I can't really see the SUV first hand.
So far I have found that there are:
x2 tweeters in the a-pillars
x2 6.5" (coaxials?) in the front doors
x2 6.5" (coaxials?) in the rear doors
x2 6.5" subwoofers in the tailgate (2 ohm each?)
I know I'm missing some speakers here. Also, he would like to use the factory amps. I am unsure of the resistance of any of the factory speakers also.
I've searched google, forums, car domain, and everywhere else I can think of and I can't find squat on this stereo. I even called Crutchfield and they were no help.
If anyone knows anything that can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Im confused as to what you are actually asking for advice on. Are you trying to replace the head unit?

I need to know what size the factory speakers are and what resistance they have so I can recommend replacements.
