xtant 403a attenuation?

i am installing my system and was wondering which is better? i am using my factory deck and was going to amplify my front speakers and just run the rears off the factory deck (figuring i would use the fader to control the level of the rear fill). or would it be better to use the attenuation circuit that xtant has made available with this amplifier? i am using an audio control eql and didnt know if it would equalize the rear through the amp or is it just a reduced pass-thru? since the only input is the rca's from the eql i was thinking it would be equalized. thanks for any help.

Use the built in circuit in the amp for this. This way you can provide a active crossover to both the front and rear speakers instead of the front only. When this circuit is engaged, the sole source of input is the front input from what I remember. I still have my tech binder at the shop if I need to get some info for you.
