Which multimeter?

I have had this craftsman meter for the longest time, probably atleast six years now, and the leads just broke.  Now, I could just fix the leads but I'm thinking maybe I'll just get a newer meter and save the craftsman as a back up.  What would you guys say is the best meter for installers?  Is Fluke really worth the extra dough?

Yeah I ended up buying new leads, no sense buying a whole new meter when this one does the job.

To work on cars it doesn't have to be a top of the line model. A Fluke will be nice but they are pricey, take a look at some of the Craftman models. They have a bunch of features and are easy on your pocket.

Check this one out  you can't argue with the price vs features.

I use my Craftsmen. I don't like some of Flukes stuff. An installer I work with has a Fluke and it is a pain changing it all the time. Mine you set it on voltage and it reads whatever it is, ac or dc. On todays cars that is a huge help when you are testing for injector pulse and the pulse is ac. Not to mention all the features beyond what the Fluke offers at about $250 cheaper.I may be lost but I am making good time.
