After 5 years of having the Mach 460 in my Mustang, I have decided to take it out. I found an old amp of mine from when I was 16. I was curious if anyone could please tell me the output of this thing, because I remember the older Rockford Fosgate amps were way underated. I have some images of it. Im not sure of the year. Its a RF Punch 40x2 and it says 20W RMS x2, but I remember this thing powering subs. I could be crazy though. Thanks.

Thats a nice peice of old school but your not gonna be powering any amps w/ it. If you have the original paperwork for the amp, it'll tell you the specific output for that amp. Rockford has always done that. Trust me they're not THAT overrated. You could use it to power up a set of speakers, but for subs you should look into getting another amp. Good Luck!

I must be crazy. Yeah, I found another amp that I know i bought to power subs, its a crunch usa v-600. I know its a crap brand, but it did the job for my 12W0's. If this amp could power my speakers, i would be happy if it could power by speakers, or maybe just 1 pair of components.
