would anyone happen to know who produced the stock CD Changer unit in the 1997 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition, and weather or not there is an adaptor harness produced to integrate it into an aftermarket head unit? any help greatly appreciated. Tried calling many ford dealerships, but nobody knows anything about it.

sony used to make alot of fords CD changers, however i doubt it will integrate with any aftermarket head unit. with the invention of MP3, who needs a cd changer anyways?

I agree. But you know when it comes to this cutomer service game, "the customer comes first". I gotta try and give him what he wants. lol
