if i put a new cd player into my 01 acura cl will the bose speakers and sub still work on an aftermarket cd player im just curious if i should replace the stock cd player for an ipod ready one or jus interace it with an ipod hookup any ideas????

Well if you replace it they now have ipod ready units that have the usb on the front or on a cable in the back. but then you can control the ipod from the unit and have a clean signal. kenwood products are kdc-x590 or kdc-x890 for the nice one
