It still sounds to me like the IGNITION wire is broken somewhere along the line. If the vehicle cranks but doesn't start, it's a sure sign that the ignition wire is not seeing 12 volts under crank.

It might just be a "coincidence" In 1994 honda had a recall on an ignition ignitor. At that time I drove a 94 coupe. Crank all day, but NO start. Just a thought!

i had one of these a while back that haunted me.... it would crank and crank but not start after i put a remote starter in it... after trouble shooting all my wiring for about 2 hours i traced the problem to one leg of the ignition switch not powering up an ignition wire....  it turned out that if you used the tilt level and moved the steering wheel at all then the car wouldnt start, but if you found the sweet spot and left it there, then the car started fine.....

it could be something wierd like this.... or a wire you have accidently cut.... do what i did and as Jeff suggested and meter every ignition wire coming from the switch..... also, check every fuse in every fuse panel on the vehicle (especially the maxi's)... there are often more than one fuse box so be diligent....

I had a honda somewhere in that year, same thing, check the fuse box under the hood for any blown fuses, I believe the one I found was labelled inj.

did the factory radio have a security system on it? if it does then get a wiring harness that keeps the factory radio in the car while it gives you all the wires for the new alpine. the factory sec is killing the starter so you can not steal the car or move it. duh
