Hi, i got a Pair of Components MB QUART DSD 216 (Front and Rear) and a Soundstream Pic 4.480 Amp.  I want to know which is the proper way to tune the amp, i mean the gain of the amp cuz i want a clear sound all the Time.  Besides i got a KENWOOD 2002 CD RECEIVER with 4.5 Volts of Preamp Output.  Thanks

First turn the gain on the amp all the way down, then set all the EQs on the head unit to 0. Now turn the head units volume about 3/4 of the way up. Then turn the gain up slowly untill u hear distortion then back it down a little. Now u can go back and set the EQs on the head unit. But u may have to adjust the gain on the amp a little more when u start boosting some freqencies on the HU
