If you're a 30 something or better you'll remember the JBL T-104 ten inch woofer.  I am trying to find a picture and some specs on this woofer and it is completely invisible to google.

I purchased some MB Quart DWE-254 tens yesterday and noticed they used the exact same basket from the old 1992 version of the T-104. Also, both were DVC. This is a pretty unique basket so it is noticeable.

I had a pair of T-104 woofers back in 1992 and loved them, super snappy response. Knowing that MB Quart would go for the similar sound of the T-104 from back in the day, I pretty much knew exactly where MB got the majority of this design. I've been looking for a set of T-104's for 8 years and never found anything, but with the new development of this MB sub actually being nearly a carbon copy,  I may have just found something better.

If anyone has PICS or SPECS on the old JBL T-104 from circa 1992 please help me out :)

Thanks!

You might wanna look at some of the JBL sites/forums out there.  Audioheritage is a great resource for both JBL and Altec.  I'm a big fan of the older GTI series from JBL.  Yeah they were marketed as car woofers, but in reality they were just modified Pro woofers.  Heavier cone and different impedances.  There's a good chance that your T-104 has the same "lineage", and thats how it got "reintroduced" by Quart.  I'd love to see some pics both of the Quart and the JBL version.....
