I just got a new playstation 2 ( the newer, slim design ) and i'm wondering about how i could power it in my car.  I've used a power inverter on trips with my old playstation 2, but the new one has a new power supply cord with some kind of black box on it.  On the box it says 8.5 volt ac adaptor.  I'm guessing that means the playstation runs off 8.5 volts dc?  If so, how can i step the voltage down from my car battery to run the playstation?  thanks alot.
