Looking at getting 2 heavy hitters in my truck. I have an F-250 Extended Cab, and will be removing the backseat. Looking for some input on 2 good 12's with good SPL and good SQ. I was looking at 2 JLW7's or 2 Memphis Mojo's, or anything else that caliber.

I've listened to the w7, was fairly impressed, how ever with it's price tag I was a little put off. I have no experience with the Memphis gear. If possible I'd start listening to them with my own ears, as every one's taste differs.

You may want to consider enclosure options and what will perform better, based on your size limitations.

i have used both and if you want spl go with the mojos i have two they are abnotiously loud hard hitting. also the mojos are made to be ported so like you said if you taking out your back seat and use from the window down to make a kick butt ported enlosure you knock some heads.

I personally like Diamond Audio D9's or D6's... Locally everyone swears by them, and I became a believer after buying some. www.diamondaudio.com

all subs listed are good. pros and cons of each sub contain,
style, appearance, price, quality, performance, box specifications. etc. so you need to make your self a pro con chart and trully get what your mind thinks is best.
i have w7's but i dont swear by them. they are awesome but recently i was jammin and the cone from one of my w7s came unglued and let me tell you that is the worst feeling when the speaker starts acting up right after you left your house for a long distance drive. well outcome jl audio slacked on the use of glue that holds a very big key part of the speaker together but with some goop pvc cleaner and a few days of weight the speaker is back in full force. and sounding better than ever.
Goop what a good product. it states: bonds to anything, bonds for ever. if you clean the product your glueing this statement is 100 % true. now that i swear by

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
