I am looking to replace my 6x9's ( i have them in both the front and rear of my '05 sebring) and i am looking for best sounding speakers to get. i am looking to spend up to $250 a pair for the speakers. The amp i will push them with is 85w x4 rms @4 -ohm and around 150 x4 @ 2-ohm. I was thinking of going kicker as I run a solobaric L7 sub, but I am also really interested in the focal products. Any reccomendations would be appreciated- thanks

I also forgot to mention I am planning on doing 3-way or 4-way's in the front and 2-way's in the rear. Sorry about the double post

If you are putting 3 ways in the front (components I assume) then the 6x9s are not needed. For sound quality purposes you want all of your music to seem like its coming from in front of you. The more speakers you physically locate behind you the harder it is to achieve. Rear speakers are only for rear fill anyways.  Save yourself the cash and put it towards better 3-ways.

If you still insist on getting rear speakers, I would convert them to 6.5"s and get some Jl 6W0s and run them from 120Hz to about 315Hz.
