i have a alpine iva-d300 im not sure how to connect the brake wire i have a 06 silverado i dont have a manual for it and ive gotten the info from alpine but it doesnt say if the brake wire has to connected to + or to - my brake wire is - then switches to + found another wire thats + then Switches to - when pressed can the brake wire handle + input

huh positive when triggered or negative when triggered i have to options i can either get a positive to negative when pressed or a negative to positive when pressed

The parking brake is negative and the brake is positive. That is what it is supposed to be
