i am not sure if i am seeing things but is it possible for a vehicle to have the BOSE badges but not truly be a bose? i thought that the extra plug in on the back of a factory radio was for BOSE. the radio has the plug in but the vehicle does not. i used the GMRC01 b/c it didn't have this plug in but i get no sound out of the speakers which leads me to believe it does have the factory BOSE amps. What should i do. does anyone know where these amps would be? thanks for any help.....

The extra 12 pin plug is for onstar and XM if present, it does not have any thing to do with BOSE. IF there are BOSE badges then it is a BOSE system with an amp under the center console.
