Interesting. I've been "out of the game" for a couple years now, and had not heard of Second Skin's Damplifier.
I tried Raamaudio. I recommended Raamaudio for the longest time. Awesome value.
However, I have a black car and left it outside this last summer when my stall of the garage was being used for a speaker building project. I opened my trunk on one very hot day; everything had either peeled off or was curling over. The Dynamat Xtreme I had in a few places was still stuck, even in the corners. [/QUOTE]

You probably have the older Raammat.  A few years back it was nothing but rubberized asphalt mat.  Basically peel and seal.  They have since revised their product and it is now a high quality butyl based mat.  If you use the stuff they sell now, you won't be dissapointed.  It is very comparable to Dynamat Extreme for WAAAY less moolah!
