i am in need of help my amp turns on fine then when i turn the bass up a bit the amp shuts off and goes into protect mode looking for help on what is going on please help

Your impedance is too low, or you have a defective amplifier. My guess is the irst one.
What amp, what woofers, what impedance? Some more details, please.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

i have 2 12'' MTX thunder 7500 series subs 450 RMS
1800w Hifonics mono amp ...not sure what inpedance means

Are the woofers dual voice coil? Yes
Are they 2 ohm or 4 ohm? Dual 4 ohm
Are they wired in series or parallel? (INPUT HERE)
(If all paralleled, that is a one ohm load. Depending on the MODEL of the amplifier, that may not be a safe load.)
One or two woofers? (INPUT HERE)
Which MODEL HiFonics amp? (INPUT HERE)
Impedance is the correct term for "ohm load", whis is NOT a correct term.

I had this problem too, but it was the ground, when I would turn up the bass, it would move the ground wire.

thx arcangel9 thats exactly what it was the ground was bad relocated the ground wire and system is working great now thx everyone for the help
