Has anyone heard the Pioneer Shallow Subs? I want to get the 12" Model #TS-SW3041D but I am worried about the sound. Has anyone had any experience with them? Pros/Cons? Please let me know. Thanks.

I was thinkin about putting them behind the back seat of a 2005 F-250 since there isn't much room at all behind it.
Does anyone else have an opinion?

heard one under the seat of a chevy avalanche. and like was said before, for something that nothing else can fit in...it sounded alright. behind the seats of regular cab trucks we have done some 10s behind the seat depending on how tall you are. We have done from 2 10w1 up to 2 10w3v2. So before going for the flats make sure you have NOOOO room, because if you have 5-6 inchs or so you can get something better.

These subs are a solution to a problem. They are not REAL musical, nor do they BOOM. But like I said, they ARE a solution to the "no space" problem, plagueing some vehicles. Build the boxes AS BIG AS YOU HAVE SPACE FOR.

I just installed one of these in a 2001 ford F-150 in a standard truck box running off 200 watts rms and it sounded good for what it is. I mean he wont win a competition or anything but it does its job and fills in the bottom end nicely
