Need the VSS and backup wires for a 2007 Tahoe. Installing an Eclipse AVN2454.

OK, since this seems to be stumping everyone... Would it be possible to use one of the wheel speed sensor wires going to the brake control module as a possible substitute for VSS?

Try using the dk.GREEN / WHITE wire in connector 4 behind the radio for VSS.

Wow! Called Eclipse and they had the answers!! For all you 2007 Tahoe/Yukon/Avalanche/Escalade owners/installers:
VSS Wire -- Location: ECM (located in engine compartment, right side, near radiator) Black 72 pin plug, the pin number is 57, the pin location may or may not have a Yellow w/ Black wire in it. If it doesn't, insert a wire /w pin.
Backup Wire -- Location: BCM (Body Control Module) (located near steering column, left side) Pin 22, Dark Blue wire.

+Makes me want to push Eclipse.  I juct called Pioneer for help and they explained that it's the car dealer's job to help me,  they aren't in the business of giving out information on how to hook to an actual vehicle.  Course it's the car dealer's job to sell the built-in Nav.  This is the third call to Pioneer that has resulted in a blow-off mixed with some arogance.  Maybe I will push Eclipses from now on.
