my am is located in my trunk and keeps over heating. will mounting cpu fans on the underside of the amp help keep it from over heating or at least prolong it. i already moved the amp off of the fool and it now hovers to try and promote air movement. if not the fans what is a good way to keep the amp cooler

What type of amp and what ohm load do you have on it.
Most of the time if the amp is surrounded by nothing there should not be a problem.

Lets try and find the reason for overheating 1st.
How quickly does it overheat?
How hard are you driving the amp while listening?
How is your gain set?
Are you sure you have a good ground?
