i agree with the amp i used to have that same amp with 2 mtx it served the purpose and the price wasnt all bad

i have a similar problem i got a kenwood kac-x812d 919 watts @2ohms and 1016 @1ohm. iwas lookn at these comps cvr 12" so is tht a good match an if it is should i wire em @ 1 or 2 ohms or is there anythng else u recommend

Wire at 2 ohms...safer bet.

can you over power a subwoofer? i want to put a orion 800.2 amp on my kicker comp would they sound better with a orion 800.2 amp and a ported box?
