last post with the radio instal was great and this forum rocks.. lol.. ok new problem... wired the radio, blew some fuses, and my "genious" brother-in-law "made" new fuses out of a wire here and there.. well anyhow, the fuses started acting up last night... now i know from experience each fuse slot on newer vehicals should have the correct amp fuse, yet my explorer doesnt have that diagram for which goes where, i got a few right or close cause they stoped blowing when i got to the correct amperage, and other burned to the touch so had to lower on those but i dont beleive i got them all right.. IE: parking lights/dash lights, wipers, who knows what else.. any help would be great.. once again a 1995 ford explorer 4 dr 4.1 liter motor with AC and power everything minus seats

I've just got one question, are the prices of fuses skyrocketing out of control?  95 Ford Explorer Fuse Diagram -- posted image.

How did he make a fuse out of some wire? Sounds like he just jumped the pins, very dangerous, especially if the fuse blew in the first place.

Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.
